Whats In A Name
Just a small update on baby #2:
We've had a couple of ultrasounds over the past few weeks and all is well with the little one. I say "little" because at the 20 week ultrasound she weighed in at a whopping 1/2 pound and was roughly the size of a soda pop can. All of the measurements were good and she has a very strong heartbeat. At the latest ultrasound she was sticking her tongue out at us and kept yawning (I guess its pretty boring inside there...).
Anyway, we have officially picked her name...Shaylee. Now we are trying to come up with a fitting middle name. We would like it to have some family connection and we are open to ideas. If anyone has any good (and reasonable) ideas, please feel free to share.
Also I will be posting ultrasound pictures of Shaylee soon.

Umm...Its been awhile
Well, lets see...our supposed "weekly" family update has sure been a fizzle, and our best excuse is a sheer lack of clock space.... Anyhow, a whole lot has happened over the past few months, keeping us on our toes. The largest of our events was the announcement of our second bun in the oven. We found out on April 20th and have been excited and depressed ever since (okay maybe not so much depressed, mostly Alicia's shifting hormones)! Outside of baby prep. its been work and school and a whole lot of Madi. She is getting so big and full of personality and has unfortunately learned that since she is a toddler she thinks that she can do whatever she wants. She sure is a smart little cookie, though. She knows all of her letters and can count into the teens. She has also learned some of her colors and it should be noted that all credit goes to sesame street (thank you Elmo)!
During the first week of May we went down to Moab with Aaron and Kristi. It was a good time of year to go, as it wasn't very hot yet. We had a lot of fun going to Arches and Dead Horse Point. Madison even climbed up to delicate arch (nearly) all by herself.
On July 30, Alicia and I sent Madi packing to her Nanny and Grandad's house and we ran away to Florida for a few days. We stayed with Glen and Gina and had a really great time. We saw most of Florida's east coast and spent time in Miami, Key West, St. Augustine and Orlando. We saw Miami's night life and spent a day at seaworld in Orlando. We definitely had a great trip and barely survived the humidity!
